Henry Crisler is the Executive Director of 3MA. He previously served as Assistant Director of the Association under Ken Newburger. Henry has been involved in the medical marijuana industry in Mississippi since 2020 when he served as the Field Coordinator for the Medical Marijuana 2020 Campaign. Henry holds a BS of Political Science from the University of Southern Mississippi. Henry’s passion for medical cannabis stems from his commitment to improving his home-state and bringing new opportunities to Mississippians.

Ken Newburger, Director of Bastillian Strategies and former Campaign Manager for Medical Marijuana 2020 in Mississippi, played a crucial role in the successful passage of Initiative 65. Leveraging his experience and connections from the campaign, Ken is now dedicated to representing the interests of the state’s burgeoning medical marijuana industry. He is passionate about ensuring patients have access to the relief they need and is committed to supporting the industry’s growth and success in Mississippi.

Brookhaven native Tatum worked as a Registered Nurse in Hattiesburg before moving to California to research Medical Cannabis benefits. Over 11 years, he co-owned 5 cultivations, a mobile dispensary, and an extraction company. His experiences led him back to Mississippi where he now works as the Director of Procurement and Compliance for the statewide Rootdown Cannabis Company. He considers being a judge for The Sippi Cup an honor.

Originally born in Queens, New York, Murkemz now claims Phoenix as his home. He has been writing and rapping since his teenage years, and has gotten the attention of hip-hop legends like Ice-T. Murkemz has made a name for himself as a lyricist and freestylist. His music career gained traction after his freestyle segment on Sway’s Sirius XM radio show in particular.

Biologist and attorney David Brown co-founded the Cannabis Action Network of Louisiana at LSU and later lobbied for environmental and drug law reform in Baton Rouge. He now resides part-time in Washington, co-owning a cannabis processing facility and advocating for therapeutic cannabis use. Brown secured a medical marijuana pharmacy license in Louisiana and launched Southern Roots Therapeutics. He also speaks with the Law Enforcement Action Partnership.

Harold Shaw, a native of Magee, MS, was born on September 3, 1974, with dreams as big as his heart. Growing up in a small town, he quickly realized that football could be his ticket out, and he was right. Shaw made a name for himself as a running back at Magee High School, leading to the retirement of his jersey in 2018. Continuing his football career at the University of Southern Mississippi, he earned the nickname “The Big Train” for his productive and punishing playing style.

Barbara Wilson has a BS degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. Barbara has dedicated her life to care for patients for over 25 years, and owner of Wilson Fireworks. She has combined her previous Medical knowledge with the new Knowledge of Medical Marijuana education to ensure that the patients are given the best care available.

With extensive industry experience in cannabis cultivation, distribution, processing, and manufacturing, Chandlor Schickedanz is a passionate advocate for medical marijuana. Previously working with growers in the Emerald Triangle and distributing to dispensaries from LA to the Bay Area, his knowledge and belief in the healing benefits of cannabis have only strengthened over time. In 2023, he returned to the South to manage CANNA+U after the legalization of medical marijuana in Mississippi.
